- I am 44. I am married to the love of my life. Together we have two beautiful young adults who bring me joy everyday. In 2015 we added another beautiful young adult to our house, our niece, and she has been a great joy! Secretly, I'm counting the years till grandbabies start coming; they just need to find their forever loves first.

It's been asked of me when this afghan is going to be released. I am currently collaborating with my friend Theresa on testing and finishing touches, so I'm hoping to get it ready to go by May. Probably late May.
But! Progress! Woohoo! I have finally started on the border. I just can't even begin to tell you what I've been through trying to find a border pattern that speaks to me, but hasn't been done a bazillion times.
I'm getting more and more excited about this pattern the more progress that's made. You will have lots of options for this fun, little afghan! 😀

In the last few days I have been knitting diaper soaker and adding rows to my new afghan.
The pink soaker comes from "The Expectant Knitter" by Marie Connolly. Lovely little pattern. I use Lion Brand Wool-Ease so they are easy care. I would love to make some in I Love This Cotton, because they would make terrific baby bloomers or shorts in the Summer.
I am working on a blue pair that I have to make for a size 8 boy who is autistic. I have had the hardest time finding a pattern already made. I was trying to modify a 1938 pattern to work for me, but lack of instruction caused me to get confused and very unhappy with it. I am thinking I may need to just wing this one following the principles that I do know about shaping soakers. Good luck to me. If you know of an already created pattern....please, let me know!

I put the blogger app on my phone in hopes that it will help me be a better blogger.
I have two new patterns on the horizon. One is a new afghan. I am looking at creating it in both baby and adult sizes. The other is a new Savannah inspired toy bag. I have included sneak peeks of both.
Currently, I am finishing up a couple orders. So, my fun stuff waits.
